Hi, my name is Sabrina Hickey-owner of Creative Cakes by Sabrina. I am a home baker in Franklin Indiana.  I recently relocated from Columbus, Ohio where I was a licensed baker since 2006.  I have been a part of cake design and sugar art for as long as I can remember. It began when I was young, learning from my mother (who learned from my great-uncle) and passed down recipes and tips to me. I can remember designing cartoon characters on cakes to help my mother and assisting in the delivery of her beautiful wedding cakes. Little did I know that I would be doing it myself as well!

I began my business in 2006 and am enjoying it immensely. I am a stay-home mother of 3 and love doing baking here at home so I can do what I love and still be the wife and mother Id always dreamed of being. I am a member of ICES (International Cake Exploration Society) and am continuously learning new techniques in cake and sugar art. I have learned valuable recipes and ideas from some fabulous ladies  in Columbus as well as studying with well known sugar-artists such as Sandy Hargrave and Nicholas Lodge.  Whether it's a birthday, wedding, or just because, I love making delicious confections to brighten your special day!

I love all aspects of baking and especially love working with my customers.  I am a people person and enjoy working with you to find the perfect cake for your occasion.  All of my cakes are custom-designed to meet your needs. Each are home made just for you!  Any cake that you see can be made to fit your occasion.  I also enjoy working  with your ideas to create the perfect design be it for a  birthday, shower, or wedding cake.  I bake fresh for each order, with the best ingredients to make the tastiest and most beautiful cakes possible! So,  please feel free to take a glance at my portfolio and enjoy!
